SPECIAL PREVIEW - ISABEL MARANT pour H&M

As I promised you in my last post some special news about the ISABEL MARANT pour H&M collection will be revealed this week, well, here they are......

I proudly present you my favorite pieces of this wonderful special collection.

For my first look I chose one of the key pieces of this collection, the wonderful embellished trophy jacket and combined it with the super cool, yet sexy and feminine leather pants. The lace shirt I'm wearing definitely also is a highlight, just as the heels are. I can tell you guys, these leather pants are so comfortable and smooth, that I didn't want to slip them off again. 

I told you before, that I'm an avid fan of Isabel Marant and love here special Parisian bohemian aesthetic, the collection represents this special style perfectly.

ISABEL MARANT pour H&M

Some of us might have been crossing off the days on their calendars and now it's only less than two weeks away. No, it's not Christmas, it's the highly anticipated Isabel Marant pour H&M collection. I'm totally in love with this super cool special collection, which represents Isabel Marant's special Parisian bohemian aesthetic perfectly. 

Leather cropped trousers, an embellished trophy jacket, printed jeans, mannish outerwear, slouchy boots with fringed detailing and studded heels, the collection doesn't disappoint at all. Also don't forget to have a look at the men's collection, which definitely offers great pieces too. 

Normally cold sweat would appear on my forehead when thinking about the previous launches of H&M designer collaborations. First you have to queue for hours outside the stores in near darkness, then the ''tagging process'' starts (you get colored wristbands), before you are led into the special shopping area in the shop, where you are given around three minutes shopping time to grab your spoils. 

Wow, I'm so glad that I'm lucky enough to be invited to a Pre-Shopping event by H&M, which means, no queuing and no raging shopping madness. 

And even more news concerning this special Isabel Marant collection and THE18THDISTRICT will come up, which will be revealed next week. 

Can't wait to talk about this on Wednesday!

COMFY CHIC on a Sunday

 I love to escape to Italy at the weekend and that's exactly what I did last Sunday. I'm an avid  fan of Italy and the moment I cross the border to Italy I feel entirely happy. When I'm at home, in Carinthia, a trip to Italy always is a must ;) On Sunday the weather was quite nice and we could even catch some sun. My outfit for a day trip needs to be chic and comfy, I chose comfy wedge sneakers and paired them with leather pants and an eye-catching jacket.

WEDGE SNEAKERS

Let's talk about wedge sneakers today. Isabel Marant kicked off this trend a few seasons ago with these futuristic-looking sneakers, which have been spotted on everyone from Miranda Kerr to Alicia Keys.

Since then, many other brands have come out with their own version of the wedge sneaker. ASH, Marc Jacobs, Giuseppe Zanotti, Chloe, only to name a few. I love my sister's Isabel Marant-like sneakers and borrowed them. They are comfortable, easy to combine with and perfect for every day life. Well, I'm definitely going to buy them, hope I'll find the Isabel Marant Bekett in blue/red for winter:)
